Mandolynn Browning
Costume and Lighting Designer

I received my BA in performance from New Mexico State University and my MFA in theatrical design from Utah State University. Since graduating, I have traveled the United States as an educator and professional theatre artist and have taught at various liberal arts colleges including St. Mary's College of Maryland and Fort Lewis College in Durango Co.
I've also had the honor of working with professional theatre companies as both a designer and technician in the costume and lighting departments. A few of my favorite professional design credits include You Can't Take it With You and Peter and the Starcatcher produced at the Caine Lyric Theatre and Highlander: The Watcher, a film directed by Jeremy Orr. Most recently, I've begun a journey into directing with the Aztec PlayMakers.

My focuses are theatre for community and creating positive social change through art. I am a strong believer in inclusion and collaboration, and being part of artistic teams devoted to producing strong, meaningful theatre fills me with pride. I value honesty, integrity in business and art, openness to ideas and communication, and positivity and enthusiasm for the work.
